President Barack Obama acts out parts from ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ with First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughter Sasha during the White House Easter Egg Roll, April 9, 2012. #/#
The Obamas are just too darn cute!
One hundred years ago, First Lady Helen Herron Taft and Viscountess Chinda, wife of the Japanese Ambassador to the United States, planted the first of the 3,000 cherry trees that were presented to Washington, D.C., by Tokyo as a symbol of friendship between the two countries.
To mark the occasion, First Lady Michelle Obama — joined by Japanese Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, and William H. Taft IV, the great-grandson of President Taft — returned to the Tidal Basin along the Potomac River to plant a new sapling for future generations to enjoy.
First Lady Michelle Obama was spotted looking hot — and as fabulous as ever — at a fundraiser for President Obama this week.
Beyonce Knowles was among the attendess, along with her mother and sister, Tina and Solange Knowles. Star Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Ben Stiller, and longtime Obama supporter Harvey Weinstein were also in attendance.
The FLOTUS was, as always, cheered on by raucous cheers and applause, proving once again that she is just as beloved as the POTUS.
