Donald Trump: I’ll Give Barack Obama’s Charity Of Choice $5 Million If He Releases Records
The Twitterverse didn’t know what to expect when Donald Trump said he was going to make an announcement about President Barack Obama today.
Tweeps speculated that The Donald was going to say a number of things, including:
- White House divorce scandal;
- Barack Obama drug-dealer debacle; and
- POTUS Obama birther fiasco.
But, nobody was able to predict Mr. Trump’s actual announcement.
“If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications — and if he gives his passport applications and records — I will give to a charity of his choice … a check, immediately, for $5 million.”
The deadline? Halloween at 5 p.m.
Everyone ready for the debate? ;)
Alec Baldwin is a lot of things — from dedicated Words with Friends player to popular actor.
Unfortunately, one thing Alec may never be is the mayor of New York City.
You see, Alec’s been giving some serious thought to running for Big Apple mayor and has been openly talking about it for a year now. But, it seems that the majority of New Yorkers don’t think the “30 Rock Star” should run. According to a recent poll of New York City residents, a whooping 66% don’t think Alec should run. Meanwhile, only 18% of New Yorkers say would vote for the actor (16% are unsure).
With less than 60 days left until Election Day, you’re probably sick of hearing about “polls” – who’s up or who’s down, by how many points and what it means, etc.
Ugh. It’s boring.
But, here’s a new a poll that you might find interesting: it seems that most Americans think in a clash of fisticuffs, President Barack Obama would win out over Governor Mitt Romney.
Leave it to Samuel L. Jackson to get things done.
The “Go the F*** to Sleep” narrator and actor is officially supporting President Obama — with a somewhat unorthodox ad, for which we absolutely can’t wait.
In the ad, he’ll be telling voters to “Wake the f*** up” and “Vote for Obama.”
USA TODAY launched a dramatic redesign of its print and digital products — as well as a new logo.
To celebrate, the media company hosted an event at the National Portrait Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum Thursday evening, which was ”an inspiring thought leadership event featuring conversations with leaders in politics, sports and media discussing what the next 30 years may bring in the USA.”
Larry Kramer, president and publisher of USA TODAY, and Gracia Martore, president and CEO of Gannett, unveiled the #NewUSAToday at the soiree as they talked about the future of news.
