Here’s a fun fact about Republican VP candidate Paul Ryan: apparently, he likes Rage Against The Machine.
He likes it so much, in fact, that he liked the political-rock band on his Facebook page.
Rage Founder and Guitarist Tom Morello quickly took to the Internet and wrote a blog post explaining his “amusement” at Paul’s love of the band’s music. In his words, the congressman is “the embodiment of the machine that our music has been raging against for two decades.”
Ouch.
Stephen Colbert strikes again!
The political satirist pulled a fast one on America by hitting the country where it hurts most: Wikipedia.
Stephen decided to mess with Tim Pawlenty’s Wikipedia page, adding a lot of nonsense (“He was the son of Eugene Joseph Pawlenty, and let’s say… Mrs. Butterworth”) and even wrote that T-Paw became Mitt Romney’s VP pick last week, which obviously caused a bit of commotion.
Now that Mitt Romney has the Republican Presidential nomination pretty much in the bag, the latest talk around Washington, D.C., watercoolers revolves around just who Mitt will pick as his running mate.
One name that’s getting some serious speculation? Rep. Paul Ryan. Why? Well, mainly because of the brewing bromance between Paul and Mitt.
